Hi! Thanks for stopping by My Sweet Potato. If you've clicked over from Tumblr, I appreciate you making the move with me. As much as I love Tumblr and how easy it truly makes blogging, MSP needed a little change and wiggle room. I really missed a lot of the interaction with readers hosts like Blogger and Wordpress offer. So hopefully this is the right fit and I'm here to stay! My Tumblr is still up if you would like to take a peek! I started it in 2010 during my sophmore year in college (and has life shifted since then!). I love blogging so so much. It's the perfect way to store all the moments I'd hate to forget as things keep on changing.
If you're here for the first time, let me introduce myself.
I'm Annie AKA sweet potato.
I can be slow to warm up in person and am quite the introvert.
Clearly my #1 childhood desire to be an actress (besides meeting the Hanson brothers).
I spent a couple of years losing my way in the desert in school for psychology,
but found myself again in the jungles of Costa Rica for massage therapy.
My favorite way to spend my time is with a camera in hand or with my toes in the sand.
I'll let my favorites speak for themselves:
I'm slowly learning my way around Blogger but if you have any tips send them my way!
For example, any suggestions on how to make sure pictures are center aligned? When I hover over the pictures it says they're centered but actually aren't. Gurus?

Last but not least, I'm so happy that you're here.

Hi Annie - Great pics, and thank you for the sweet comment!
ReplyDeleteRE: Centering your photos....when you highlight or hover over your image, and Blogger tells you it is centered, but it isn't - click either left or right alignment (the image should respond), then click back on "center" - the image should then move into place.
The same goes for image size, if you want larger images. Blogger is a slow learner ;)
Hope that helps!

ReplyDeleteI appreciate the photo centering help! I think I finally have the hang of it.
Also, thank you for the picture compliments. Photography is one of my favorite ways to spend time and I think you'll be seeing a lot more of it as time goes on. :)
The first photo on this post is by the fabulous Myrtle Beach photographer Mary King. The rest I have shot myself. XO
